Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: When can I bring in my goods?
- A: We accept goods everyday, up to a half hour, prior to closing. See Hours
- Q: When do I know my results?
- A: You will receive an e-mail each Monday morning or you can phone us.
- Q: How long can I leave my goods with the Wodonga Tender Centre?
- A: Goods can be left for six (6) weeks, after this time we ask that you collect the unsold goods. If not collected the Tender Centre Wodonga will reduced the goods to half the reserve price for four (4) weeks and then dispose of them.
- Q: How much will it cost me to sell my goods?
- A: A once only upfront placement fee when goods are booked in for sale. For successful sales please see Commission Rates.
- Q: What if I change my mind about selling the goods?
- A: Once goods are entered into a tender auction
they must go through that week’s auction before being withdrawn.
- Q: Can I put a reserve on my goods?
- A: Yes. We ask that you place a reserve on all goods. These reserve prices are available for all potential buyers and bidders to view.
- Q: What if I want to cancel or decrease the bid I have submitted?
- A: You can not cancel or decrease your bid once
it has been submitted to Tender Centre Wodonga.
- Q: What if I want to increase my bid?
- A: You can increase your bid by submitting a
higher bid before the closure of business on Sunday.
- Q: When do i know if my bid was successful?
- A: Each Monday after 12 noon you need to contact us to find out if you are successful.
- Q: Can i only buy goods by bidding?
- A: No, if an item was not sold via tendering the first week, you can purchase it at the reserve price.
- Q: Is there a charge for bidding or buying?
- A: A small handling surcharge would then apply, to all successful bids and items purchased. See

- Q: Can I put a reserve on my goods?
- A:. Yes. We ask that you place a reserve on any
goods valued over $10.
- Q: When do I have to pick up my goods if my bid has been successful?
- A:. Collection of these goods are on Monday, Tuesday
and Wednesday after the tender auction. If they are collected after this date
a storage fee will be charged for these items.
- Q: What Warranty or Guarantee do I have?
- A:. There is no warranty or guarantee implied
or entered into. Please check all items before bidding on them.
